There are three ways you can be involved in impacting nations with the message of Christ:
- By PRAYING for a worker or region regularly
- By GIVING towards a region, project or worker
- By GOING on a short term team
As a church, we have seen hundreds of thousands of dollars invested each year in spreading the gospel to other nations as we partner together,
each giving what God has prompted us to give.
Financial support for our World Impact ministry comes from:
-
World Impact Partnership Giving. Congregation members are encouraged to make planned faith commitments to support the missions vision of CityLife.
These World Impact Partnership commitments are used to fund priority projects and needs, including support of national workers, training of national leaders,
outreach teams and ministry projects for CityLife missions workers. These cards may be found at the Connect Desk.
World Impact introduces An Easier Way to Give!
You can give in two ways:
- through a faith promise that you then give regularly to throughout the coming year, and
- through a once-off faith offering.
If you would like to make a faith promise, please fill out the
World Impact Partnership Card
with the total amount you would like to achieve this year. This card can be placed in the offering buckets during the normal offering time.
If you would like to start your promise giving now, then put your first offering AND
the completed card into the World
Impact giving envelope provided, and place it in the offering bucket.
You can also give online anytime via the CityLife website by clicking here to get to our secure online form.
NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR CONTACT WITH MISSIONS WORKERS:
When you give to a particular missionary you may like to have your contact details passed on to them so that they can keep in touch with you and send you updates on their ministry. If you would like this to happen, please fill in your details in the front of the
World Impact giving envelope and
place it in the offering bucket during the meeting. We will then forward these details to the worker you have specified. Your information will only be used for this purpose.
Additional World Impact envelopes are available each week in the information stands in the street and foyer, and at the Connect Desk.
-
General Funds. CityLife covers all administration, staff costs and a portion of the general missions funds.
-
Kingdom Investment Fund (KIF). Giving to missions through the KIF is directed towards the same projects as
World Impact Partnership giving. However, KIF giving can be tax deductible.
-
Designated Giving. The church also supports and manages
designated giving towards particular missionaries and missions
activities in our focus regions. 100% of such designated offerings are
set aside for the person or agency that is specified by the donor.
-
Gifts can be made through the church's offering envelopes or a direct
debit can be arranged with the church office. World Impact Partnership
giving and designated giving to particular workers should be marked on
the missions section of the envelope.
