CityLife Business & Leadership Development

Peter Coburn
Peter Coburn
Business Ministry Leader
Who is this for?

You may be a Christian, male or female, who is self employed, a professional, a business owner with employees, a CEO of a large corporation, a Chairman of the Board or even a Student.

Can CityLife Business & Leadership Development help me?

The term Kingdom Business is a growing phenomena with an increased momentum as a Christian philosophy of dedicating both talent and assets for the continued expansion of God’s Kingdom.

The restoration of a balanced view on prosperity and finance is taking place within the hearts of believers worldwide.

It is our intention to assist individuals through encouragement and training. To stimulate the deployment of their ministry expression within the Marketplace to reflect the value based culture of the Kingdom of God.

Remember, as Christians in Business, we already exert our “flavour” in the business mix – is it ‘salty’/Christ-like or is it something else?

Christians are called to be “salt & light”. Christians in Business are called to have a Christ-like influence in the Marketplace. To be Business Leaders!

Have you ever considered how you can, in a natural way, supernaturally become better influencers of Christ in the Marketplace? Or, how do you ‘do business’ and be an Ambassador of Christ? Can we really mix our Faith and Business at the same time?

So, what’s really in it for you?

You will find eternal purpose and meaning in and for your Business. You will connect with other Business Leaders and be invited to participate in CityLife internal or external events such as Networking, Prayer, Encouragement, Business Breakfasts and Dinners.
You will grow in wisdom through CityLife Peer Groups, Cells, and Equipping Sessions. You will be encouraged to flourish, grow and transform into Kingdom savvy Business Leaders. You will learn how you can be an excellent witness to clients, customers, suppliers, employees and other business men and women. You will learn honest, ethical and best practice business operating principles, and how to invest, according to your God given gifts (be it resources, time or skills), into reaching out and impacting our community, city and nation for the Kingdom of God.

Every journey begins
with the first step …

Business & Leadership Development Breakfast

The breakfasts are designed to inspire, encourage, build up and edify the saints in business, albeit business owners, entrepreneurs, those who serve in a professional or a management role and students.

On these early mornings we are fed with a scrumptious breakfast. But more importantly, we are fed spiritually. CityLife is committed to finding awesome business men & women who have an active and inspiring testimony of Jesus in their life and how He has made a difference in their Business.

While all breakfasts are recorded on CD/DVD, the speakers are asked to share intimately and deeply and therefore are at liberty to have the recordings withdrawn should they consider the content to be too private and not for public consumption. Apart from that, actually being at the breakfast you not only hear & see first hand but there is an impartation of wisdom that comes from each unique speaker.

The breakfasts serve to allow networking. Synergistic relationships are always a possibility.

In addition, we invite students who maybe our next generation of business people & entrepreneurs to connect with business people so they may learn and grow.

In 2008, there will be 5 Business Leaders Breakfasts:
